"No, I don't think that makes you sound morbid at all. I love war related stuff, movies, books, just general facts, pictures, I just don't care too much for the Vietnam War. It bores me to tears." She sipped her own coffee and picked at her brownie. "Hmm, I wonder if I've already met her, it's not Yume right?"

Xander grinned as he finished his cream puff and reached for a brownie. "Good; I'd hate it if you were the type of girl who squealed at the sight of blood or something. I'm not saying I like gory things but really; I don't think I could be friends with an overdramatic person. Takes up too much energy." He shook his head, hoping he hadn't offended her. "Nope, the girl who literally sparkles? Georgiana's the girl with really long brown hair; Sander teases her so much about that. I'm not sure why he does it though because not only does her boyfriend try to beat him up but Georgiana always manages to land a punch on him; masochistic bastard." He said fondly.

Collins grinned. "I can't take too much gore, but a little bit of blood not too bad." She blushed a little. "Though during Hannibal I had to turn away when he was lifting the guys scalp off and cutting at his brain, that was just too gross for me." She shivered a little and stopped picking at her brownie. "I haven't met her yet then, the description sounds a little familiar from some of the girls I saw at the picnic, but I honestly don't remember." She shrugged. "So you haven't done anything but sit on the couch all day?"

Xander returned her grin. "Yeah that's what I mean." He had watched Hannibal and though he didn't turn away, he had lost his appetite for dinner afterwards. It was a miracle to watch Seph and Jackie eat their pasta with gusto after that. He shook his head. "It's alright, you'll meet her one of these days. She's nice; I think you'd like her." He blushed at her question and took a sip of his coffee. "Yeah sort of. I only had one class today and after that I was just at a loss. Kai was off somewhere so I had no one to play my bass with, the others were still at school and even my godmother had something going on." He shrugged; he had been quite bored out of his mind when he had finally gotten the nerve to text Collins.

I think we have conflicting ideas of what day it is. Collins has been home all day...thought it was Saturday or Sunday.
"So no homework then?" She asked, sipping her coffee and glancing over the rim of her mug at him. "I would think as a college student you'd have loads of homework to do every night." She shrugged. "Chelsea is always doing homework, I swear, I'll call her and ask if she wants to hang out and she'll say, bring your homework we'll work on it together." She rolled her eyes. "Though lately she's been a little better. She must do her homework at a different hour in case Bo calls or something." She wasn't jealous of Bo, more like thankful that he'd come into her life so she would have more time to spend with Chelsea without having to do homework. "How many classes are you taking then?"

(( Oh whoops. LOL. Well here college people have Saturday classes. But whatevs. xD I'm retarded ))
He thought about it, maybe he had missed a paper he should have been doing? "Naah, I'm pretty underloaded this semester; any homework I need to pass this week has already been done. I'm only taking 4 subjects and I usually take a lot more so I'm not used to all the free time I have now." He said with a chuckle. Xander would eventually take more classes, probably in the next semester but now, he was pretty relaxed. "What about you? How are your classes doing? I've never been to the high school, honestly. I never bothered to go with my siblings when they enrolled." He hadn't even dropped them off before but that was because Cameron had a car and they didn't really need him.

"Four classes, that still seems pretty hefty, I mean that's twelve credit hours right?" She shrugged. "My classes are going alright, I've a serious case of senioritis, but that's alright because most seniors contract it and still make it through to graduation without too many after effects. Garret has it too, I don't know if he'll make it through it though, he's got a real bad case." She grinned. "Oh you'll have to come by sometime, pick me up from school or something, I drive usually, so it would be best if you let me know so I can just ride with Garret or Mara or something. I'll show you around."

Xander nodded. "Yeah, I guess I'm just used to overloading myself with work so this is like vacation time for me." He grinned, he couldn't really imagine Garret stressing over anything but it did seem funny. "Naah, I'm pretty sure he can get through it; I think Aya would bust his ass if he didn't." He waggled his eyebrows suggestively. "You askin' me out Collins?" He chuckled. "I'm kidding, sure I'd love to pick you up from school and I'd love to check it out before I never have to see it again." Everyone in his family would be in college by the time school let out so he would never really have a reason to check out the highschool after that.

Collins nodded. "Yeah, I can see her kicking his ass, sometimes he really needs it. It's a shame that black eye she gave him didn't knock some sense into him though." She grinned and then blushed. "I wasn't, I didn't mean for it to sound like a date, but um, I could ask you on a date, it wouldn't be to the high school, maybe to dinner or lunch or something, but I didn't think you were interested in that sort of thing."

Xander laughed; Aya looked frail and delicate but it wasn't so. He was pretty sure that if she really wanted it, she could beat even him to a pulp. "Well... I don't really know what happened but I think they're pretty good friends; it's a funny relationship." His heart seemed to flutter in his chest as he watched her struggle for words. He cut her off however; he wanted to be the one to ask her on their first date, not the other way around. "I was kidding you know." He lowered his eyes to his cup of coffee before glancing at her. "Jordan, would you go out with me?"

"Like on a date?" She asked, setting her mug down on the table before she spilled it all over herself. "Or like be your girlfriend?" She hated how dumb she was being. "Yes, to both if you're asking." She blushed and stared down at her coffee and the half finished brownie.

Xander grinned at her response; relieved and excited all at the same time. "Well I was asking if you wanted to go on a date... But the girlfriend question would have come around sooner or later." He wanted to hug her, kiss her, something! Instead he sat in his chair and sipped at his coffee some more all the while, his insides were doing the cha-cha. "So... Where would you like to g-ohh, nevermind. I think I'd rather surprise you instead." He grinned; he was already thinking of the perfect place to take her.

Collins blushed again. "I didn't mean to jump the gun, but sure Xander, I'll go on a date with you." She was about to answer where she would want to go when he changed his mind and decided to surprise her instead. "So when is this super fantastic date going to take place?" She asked, moving anxiously in her seat.

He grinned, he was far too happy that she had accepted to let anything bother him. "It's alright and I'm glad you will." Xander pause and tried to estimate when he could get everything in order. "Well, when are you free? And this needs to be a afternoon-night deal so a day when you're free on those times." He was already making a list of things to buy in his head. Note to self: Ask Georgie for help.

"For you...?" She asked. "I'll make myself free whenever you need me to be free." She sipped her coffee, and smiled over the rim before getting up. "I think we should take our coffee into the living room and you can tell me about this fun afternoon-night date you're planning."
