Penelope puffed up her cheeks. "I neva said you were-ent. You ass-oomed." She said, her words being rather choppy. Lizabeth rolled her eyes at Penelope's behavior. "Like you said, kids will be kids, I guess." She shrugged, handing him a tea cup and pouring Penelope's into a small sippy cup.

Kasem looked at penny curiously, "Wha' is assoome'?" He asked her, tilting his head to the side slightly.
BaoChen took the cup, warming his hands on it, "Thank you." He muttered softly before looking over to the kids and smiling, "Yup."

Penelope puffed up her cheeks in mild frustration, but Lizabeth turned around to answer before her. "She meant 'assumed'. As in, you thought something to be right." Lizabeth brought over Penelope's tea, making the little girl's mood change back to happy quickly. "T'ank you!" She said, grabbing the cup and sipping the tea.

Kasem thought about the word for a little longer before shrugging, thinking he understood but not quite sure.
BaoChen shook his head at the two kids, holding his tea while warming his hands. He looked to Lizabeth, "Thanks again for the tea, by the way." He told her, holding his tea up slightly.

Penny glanced at Kasem and picked up her crayons. She walked over and put them in front of him. "Colo's?" She smiled, as if it being a peace treaty.
Lizabeth looked at him and grinned. "No problem. Thanks for occupying my kid." She laughed lightly, running her fingers through her hair. "It's been a long day." She sat down, taking a zip of her own tea.

Kasem smiled and took the crayons from her, "thank you." He told her, looking at the colors in his hands.
"No problem. Thanks for occupying my brother." He told her in return, sipping on his tea. "This is good." He muttered as an afterthought.

Penelope gave him a big smile I'll of small teeth. "Yo welcome!" She crawled over and grabbed a sheet of paper, taking in back to him so he could draw on it.
Liz smirked softly. "Of course." She nodded slightly at his last statement. "Thanks. It doesn't take much." She took another sip, keeping the liquid in her mouth for a second before swallowing.

BaoChen glanced out the window as he was finishing up his tea, only to see his mother's car in the driveway. He set the empty cup down on the counter in what seemed like haste and surprise. "Oh shhh..." He began, censoring himself before he cursed. "Mom's probably wondering where we are, I'm sorry, I need to get going." Through his rush, he took a moment to pause and smile at Lizabeth, "Thanks for the tea. Feel free to stop by anytime." He told her, going to Kasem. "Kase, man, we gotta go." He said, grabbing his little brother's hand and picking him up.

Lizabeth looked up as BaoChen looked out the window, quickly grabbed the glass before it tipped over. She laughed lightly and nodded as he looked back to smile at her. "No problem, come back over any time. I'm sure Peneope will want to see you guys again." Penelope looked a little upset when Bao came to take her playmate away, but she got up with a frown and not a fit instead. "Bye Bye Kasem.: She walked over and gave him a hug, then hugged Bao's leg. "Bye Bye, Man." She giggled, not being able to remember his name. "Lizabeth walked over to Penelope and smiled, picking her up. "If you get in trouble, just let your mom know she can come talk to me and I'll explain everything. Do you need us to go over with you so she doesn't get mad? I could explain if you think I need to."

BaoChen patted Penny's head and let Kasem return the hug goodbye. He looked up and smiled at Lizabeth. "No, I think I'll be fine. She'll be a little mad, but I'm sure she'll be happy to find out Kasem's got a new friend." He told her with a small laugh. "It was nice to meet you." He told her, before once again pulling Kasem away and heading out. "Bye!" He called, Kasem echoing his goodbye.
