Avery was beaming from ear to ear, over the top should have been his middle name because he didn't like doing anything half-assed, that was Monte's game, though lucky for him, Monte hadn't done a half assed job this time. He'd have to pay him back somehow, though honestly, what could you get the guy who had everything his heart wanted? Having Aya back in Monte's life made everyone's life a little easier. He licked his bottom lip as she brought up finances again, though she didn't seem as bothered by it as she had earlier this morning, when he'd left the outfit she'd been wanting on the bed for her. He'd told her before and he'd tell her again that she wouldn't have to worry about finances anymore, they were set for life, even if neither of them currently had a full time job. His Trust Fund would take care of them no matter what, his parents had set it up for the four kids and when Cadence passed they changed the trust so it was mostly divided between the three boys and a small percentage of the interest accumulated would go to the Screen Actor's Guild Foundation because of her love and appreciation of the film industry. He settled down on one of the pillows and picked up the camera, snapping a couple pictures of her admiring her ring. "Is it big enough? Because I don't mind going up a karat size if you want." He knew he wouldn't have to, Gracie wasn't like that, but even if she had been, he'd have done anything for her. He wasn't particularly hungry yet, but knew he would be soon and settled with a bottle of soda.

Gracie smiled at him when he Asked about the karat size. "Of course not. It's perfect." She licked her lips and plucked it from the box before sliding it onto her finger and admiring it from there. This was more than she could ever have hoped for. "How did you do all of this? The flowers? The picnic is adorable, I didn't know iPod docks like that existed. It's all just so adorable." She turned on her knees to the bucket with the bottles and pulled out a cherry soda before settling on the pillows next to him. She smiled and shook her head lightly. "I know you probably don't want to talk about the girls right now, but they would love this. Playing in the flowers... It would be cute." She couldn't help it, he had to know that. Even when her mind was completely overwhelmed with something he had done just for her, she always thought of them first. That was how it would always be now. Forever. She took a swig of her soda and smiled at the little glass bottle. "Don't throw these away, I want to use them as vases later. So we can always remember today."

Avery took a sip from his soda and nodded. "I wanted to give you some time to yourself, but if it means that much to you, I can have Monte pick the girls up and bring them." He dug into his back pocket and turned so his head was resting on the pillow and he was looking up at the nearly cloudless sky. "Just a push of a button." He said, turning to look back at Gracie and the bottle she was holding. "Sure thing, we'll save whatever you want." His eyes landed on the plane parked on the other side of the field. If Monte brought the girls he'd have to come back to get them when they were ready to go, unless they sat with Gracie, but that was even risky. "You think Tally and Zane are busy?" If they joined them and brought the girls then any plans Monte might have had wouldn't be completely ruined.

Gracie smiled at him, "Oh, no, it's okay babe. I figured we could just bring them some other time. I want to have this date with you. Our first day being officially engaged should be special." She smiled at him. The girls wouldn't make it any less specia, but it did seem right for them to spend Valentine's Day just the two of them. She licked her lips before she took another drink of her soda. "Thank you though, for wanting to change your picnic to accomadate me." She looked down at the ring again and gently shook her head at it. "I mean, unless that was part of your plan. I want to do today the way you envisioned it." She thought that would make it perfect. He always seemed to have the better ideas so this plan of hers made total sense.

Avery smiled and tossed the phone on a pillow beside him. "We'll just spend the day together and bring the girls back another day to play in the flowers." He finished his soda and set the bottle aside, then crawled his way over to her, wrapping his arms around her pinning her arms to her torso and gently pulled her to him. He kissed down her neck and let his arms loosen so she could move without hinderance. "I love you, you know."

Gracie finished off her soda as well, setting the bottle down beside her before she saw him coming toward her. She let out a giggle as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her tight to him. She loved this feeling of being together, how she felt so loved when she was with him. She was so happy that they had a family. It might be a bit backwards, but she didn't care. It was perfect for them. Completely backwards perfection. She looked him straight in the eyes and smiled, "I love you too, Avery." She moved her arms from their position and let her hands rest on either side of his face, just looking at him for a minute before she leaned in for a kiss.

He took the kiss graciously and then pulled out of it, running his fingers along her smooth cheek. "You think your mom will want to help plan the wedding or is she not that kind of mom?" He knew his mom was that sort and would have poured over every detail of Cadence's if she had ever gotten married. She'd want to be a part of the planning details of his too, but he knew her pestering wouldn't be anything like what she would have been for Cadence. "And Tally?"

Gracie shrugged lightly at his question. She figured she would want to come for the dress shopping and such, but as for planning, her mother would probably be quite useless. Tally would be useless planning as well, when it came to the wedding. Parties though, she could do. Since she would definitely be the maid of honor, she would do bridal shower and bachelorette party. She shook her head finally to answer him. "I don't think mom will help much... I was thinking about asking your mom," she said lightly, looking back up to his eyes. "Do you think she would mind? I mean, she's just so classy and I think she would be a lot of help..." She licked her lips as the next thought crossed her mind. She had no idea who would give her away. Martin was always supposed to take that role, but now that he was gone, she had no idea.

"Are you kidding?" Avery asked, running his fingers through her hair. "My mom won't mind." He smiled up at her and kissed her cheek. "If you didn't ask for her help she'd find ways to sneak it in somehow." He grinned. "Like stopping by to see if you need any help with anything and if you say you're good she'd find a way to twist it around so that you're hurting her feelings by not letting her do something." He smiled a little more. "She's going to be ecstatic when you tell her. Would you mind if Dad does the pictures?" The thought of who would walk her down the aisle didn't cross his mind, though he wasn't sure he'd have an answer. "I was thinking Malachi would be my best man, it should probably be Monte because he's my twin, but he's not into that sort of thing."

Gracie grinned at his response. Good. She loved that she would have someone to help her that would actually know what to do. She had no clue where to start planning. This was going to be such a fun thing, at least she hoped. She wanted it to be a wedding that you couldn't forget. It had to be perfect and it had to be them. She nodded lightly, "Of course, your dad's pictures are gorgeous." She licked her lips lightly and then grinned and nodded again, "Yeah, that makes sense. Tally will be my maid-of-honor, but I don't know who my other bridesmaids will be. I suppose Ali Rene, I've gotten pretty close with her lately."

"I didn't think my dad doing the pictures was going to be an issue for us." He ran his fingers through her hair again. "Do you have a color scheme in mind? Or even a theme?" He'd go for just about anything, the only color he wasn't sold on was magenta, anything else he could probably live with wearing or seeing for the next couple of months. "Oh and any preference on the season?" He could probably convince Monte to be one on his groomsmen but if he were dead set against it Zane would be his back up or even just his third option.

Gracie licked her lips at his next question and shook her head, "No, not yet. I was thinking about a teal or blue color with some white and maybe a little purple or green?" she asked lightly. She liked the way those colors looked and she loved how they looked together, as long as they got the right shades. She shook her head, "No preference. I mean, I love the summer, and if we do summer, we could do it outside, but we'd have to plan really fast or wait another year. Not that I'm opposed to getting married really soon, it'd just be a lot of work." She thought about it for a moment and then licked her lips. "I don't know who's going to give me away, though..."

Avery tried to picture the colors she mentioned in his head, but his guy brain wasn't sure if he was picturing the right shades of those colors or not. "You'll have to show me what you mean. Later." He hadn't thought about how close the summer was and if he had to picture himself getting married it would be during the summer, outside, maybe with a Gazebo and tons of outdoor fun, more like a picnic setting, something that would be fun for the girls. "Do you want to wait a year?" Taking twelve or fourteen months to plan a wedding would less stressful than trying to plan it in two or three months. Though if she were dead set against it his mom would find a way, he'd find a way. He bit his lip, he wasn't sure who they'd have walk her down the aisle. "What about your mom?" He changed his mind as soon as he'd said it. "How about Harper and Devyn?"

Gracie shrugged lightly, "I don't know... I mean, I want to be married to you. As soon as possible. But I could wait if it was necessary." She smiled gently and then decided finally that she didn't really want to wait too long. "No, I really don't want to wait a year." She bit her lip and decided that she would make it perfect and she would do it fast. Besides, if she was getting married to him, it would be perfect anyway. She shook her head as he mentioned her mother, she had obviously thought about that. She thought for a second about Devyn and Harper giving her away, but then shrugged, "I imagined they would be the flower girls. I mean, they're walking, they can come down the isle by themselves. Maybe they won't be good at the petal thing, but that's not a big deal to me anyway." She licked her lips and shrugged again, "I always thought Martin would be able to do it." She was sure they would think of something. Maybe she would walk down the isle by herself and Tally could give her away.

Avery smiled, he didn't really want to wait either, though it wouldn't matter really, they were going to live together before the wedding no matter when it occurred. "What if we found someone else to be flower girl?" He had no idea who, the thing was, Devyn and Harper were perfect for flower girls. "How about Malachi? He can pull double duty, you're good friends right?"
