"Okay, let's go to the movies then!" Perrin replied excitedly, leading Summer in a general direction, only to pause not even a few steps later. "Where's the movie theater?"

Summer began giggling, shaking her head. "I don't know." She said after a moment. "Maybe if we go back the way we came, we can ask someone where it is." She tugged on a braid, smiling a bit. "It can't be that far. Riverside isn't that big, is it?"

Perrin nodded and smiled, "That could work." He agreed, turning them around, still just as playful as before. It wasn't long before they ran into a passerby. "Excuse me," Perrin called out to the man, "Can you say where the movie theater is?" He asked, trying to put on a brave front despite the butterflies in his stomach from speaking so much English. As the man explained to him, he felt himself getting lost in the directions, hoping Summer was having an easier time understanding since she was a fluent English speaker.

Summer smiled a bit when the man gave directions. She had no sense of direction whatsoever, but she tried to remember what it was the man said. She began walking in the direction that the man told them, focusing on where they were going and not so much their surroundings. They finally made it to the movie theater, and Summer gave a small sigh of relief. "I was afraid we wouldn't make it. I'm terrible with directions." She admitted quietly.

Perrin raised an eyebrow, then let out a laugh, "Oh really? I did not understand everything he said... Suddenly I got confused with English..." He muttered.

Summer smiled and led the way into the theater. "It's okay. Between the two of us we made it." She giggled softly and looked around the theater. "I've never been here before. I wonder what they're playing."

Perrin smiled, looking at what was playing. "Oh... It seems pretty different from movie theaters in Paris." He mutter aloud, also looking at the movies. He wasn't sure what he'd want to watch, especially since there'd be no subtitles helping him. Would it be foolish to ask to watch a kids movie? He wondered, taking glances at Summer.

"Do you see anything you'd like to see?" Summer asked, looking up at him. "I'll watch pretty much anything." She smiled, looking around the theater again. "I heard almost all of these movies were pretty good."

Perrin looked around, trying to remember how the ratings were set up in America. He pointed to one rated PG, nervously asking, "How about that one?"

Summer smiled when she saw what he pointed too. Kung Fu Panda 2. "Okay. My mom went to take my siblings to see it, they said it was good." She didn't really mind cartoons, she actually preferred them to other movies. They were funny and, most of the time, innocent.

Perrin smiled, about to go up to pay before stalling. "How do you buy movie tickets in America?" He asked her, gently shoving her forward as if saying, 'you first.'

Summer blushed, but smiled when he pushed her, going up to the register. "Hi." She said. "Can I get a ticket to see Kung Fu Panda 2 please?"

Perrin watched as if he was taking notes for a class, and once Summer was done, he walked up to the window. "Uh... a ticket for Kung Fu Panda 2... please..." He muttered, suddenly feeling nervous without fully understanding why. Once he got his ticket, he muttered at "thank you" and went over to Summer. "Now what do we do?" He asked her, like a little kid on his first trip to a movie theater.

Summer waited for Perrin to get his ticket, and smiled when he came back over to her. "Do you want some snacks?" She asked. She wanted to get something to drink, and maybe some candy. "If not we can go into the theater and wait for the movie to start.

"Oh," Perrin replied simply, looking at the snacks. Suddenly his eyes lit up, "Do they have... swedish fish? I love that candy, but I've only had it once because it's not very popular in France..." He explained, really hoping for the candy to be there.
