Perrin searched his pockets, finding the movie ticket stub. "Do you... do you have a pen or pencil?" He asked her, feeling like this atmosphere was only getting more and more awkward.

Summer pulled the bag off her shoulder and dug in it, finding a small sharpie pen attached to her house keys. "It always pays off to have a writer for a mom." She giggled softly, taking the ticket from him so she could write her number on it. "I hope you can read my writing." She said.

Perrin watched as she wrote the number down. "Yup," He stated simply, excited he had managed to become close enough to someone in the first few days of moving to Riverside. He took the ticket stub once she was done, holding it like it was something fragile. Giving her a big smile, he gave her a small wave, "I'll call you when I get a phone." He told her, heading off in the direction of home. "Bye Summer! I had fun today."

"Okay." Summer smiled, waving as well. "Bye. I had fun too." She started home, excited to tell her family about him, even though they probably wouldn't believe she made a friend on her own, much less an guy friend.
