Monte watched her closely, admiring the lines and curves of her body, admiring the muscles in her legs. "What do you do that's fun and stimulating?" He asked. He was an athlete, maybe not as athletic as her or as Avery, but he was in good physical shape, ran, and played baseball, which would be enough to call himself an athlete. "Why would you do something that you don't think is fun, even if its stimulating? Do you run?" He asked.

Amaya shrugged, placing her hands on either side of her. "I do karate. And I snowboard." She stood again, placing her hands on her hips. "I dunno. It's something to do." She ran a hand through her hair, shrugging again. "I can if I needed to. I don't just do it just because."

Monte was still getting the vibe that she didn't want to talk to him, but fought every fiber in his body to stay and try to me civil and friendly. "Karate and Snowboarding huh?" He looked around the park and made a face. "Do you skateboard too?" He didn't think he could handle another skateboarder, it would just be another reminder of a girl he'd let slip through his fingers. He glanced toward the stretch of pavement he'd come from and half decided he was just going to part ways, but instead he walked to the tree and sat down beside her.

Amaya nodded, smiling a bit. She loved snowboarding, it was her life. "I've been snowboarding since before I was adopted. I only recently took up karate." She shook her head at his next question. "Nah, never really liked skateboarding. I've tried it but it isn't me." She sat down again when he sat, turning to face him.

"I'd think snowboarding was a lot like skateboarding only on the snow, but that shows how much I know huh?" He didn't want an answer to the question, he didn't care for either activity and Karate had never caught his attention. If he got into a fight he could fair well as long as his opponent wasn't skilled in the martial arts. "Kinda feels like a one sided conversation here, you sure you don't want me to just go?"

"Snowboarding is way funner." Amaya sat, leaning back on her hands. At his question, she was tempted to tell him he could leave if he wanted to, but she did kinda enjoy the company, even though she'd never admit it to him. "If I wanted you to go, I would've let you leave." There, that was admitting it without really saying it. "What do you do for fun then? Besides stand in the middle of the park half naked?"

Monte laughed, he would simply have to take her word for it, he wasn't interested in strapping pieces of wood to his feet and going down a mountain. The closest thing he'd ever do to snowboarding would be surfing and he wasn't really interested in that either. He put on his most mischievous smirk and shook his head as if he weren't going to tell her. "Standing in the park completely naked." He wouldn't be the least bit uncomfortable in that situation, with Serena he'd stripped down and danced on the hood of his car.

Amaya rolled her eyes, why did she ask? "Of course you would." She couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Okay, anything else, other than indecent exposure?" She spread her legs a bit, placing her hands in between them and leaning forward. It probably looked weird, but she wasn't used to sitting in one spot for too long and she was beginning to get a bit restless. "Like, school-wise? Or after school? Or sports?"

Monte scoffed. "Are you kidding? There is no such thing as indecent exposure when I'm the one doing the exposing." He grinned, yeah he wasn't afraid of coming off as arrogant and conceited, he thought he was hot and no one could persuade him otherwise. "You don't think I'm good looking?" He asked, expecting only an affirmative answer. "Just graduated so I don't do anything after school anymore but I played baseball on the varsity team with my twin." He liked the way she was moving, the girl was flexible and his one track mind was telling him that could only be a good thing. "I guess I like sleeping, does that count?"

Amaya snorted in amusement. Man this guy is sure of himself. "I'm pretty sure the cops would beg to differ." She said, raising an eyebrow. "But I suppose it's a good thing that you feel that way about yourself." She rolled her eyes at his question. "I'm still deciding on that one." She did think he was hot, but she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing that. "I don't think I've played baseball. I've kinda always wanted to try it though." She shook her head at his next statement, lowering her upper body to rest her elbows on the ground, her chin in her cupped hands. "Sleeping does not count. It's not really doing anything."

"Wow." He couldn't stop himself from expressing his admiration. "I've finished deciding on whether or not I think you're hot or not." He put his hands behind his head and rested against the tree. "Damn." He would love to be that flexible. "Then I like being in my bed doing what people usually do in bed when they aren't sleeping." He grinned, he wasn't being very clear, but she could probably figure out what kind of guy he was just by previously talked about subjects. "If you want to play baseball I'm sure I could get a couple of my baseball friends up and get a game going."

"Okay, maybe I've already decided and I just don't want to tell you." No need in him getting a bigger head than he already had. She shook her head. "That could be a number of things. You'll need to be more specific." She knew exactly what he meant, but she felt the need to be difficult. "Depends. Are all of your baseball friends guys?" Amaya had no problem playing with guys, but if they were all like him, she didn't think she'd be able to handle it.

Monte shook his head and dropped his hands from behind his head. "You like being difficult don't you?" He chuckled. "I know I'm hot, most girls think so too, so if you don't want to tell me your answer, then I'll just assume you think I'm the most gorgeous guy you've ever set your eyes on." He winked at her. "You know what I mean, I can see it in your eyes that you do and yes all of my baseball friends are guys, but my buddy Garret's cousin Collins is athletic and I'm sure she'd enjoy getting in on the game." He tilted his head, seeing how she'd react to this news. He wasn't technically friends with Garret, but they could be civil long enough to play a game of pick up baseball.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention being difficult is one of my hobbies. Right next to sarcasm." Amaya grinned. "You go ahead and assume all you want, it doesn't mean you're right." She probably wouldn't tell him unless he somehow forced her too. She rose an eyebrow, sitting up. "Oh really? Maybe I have no idea what you meant." She crossed her legs, resting her elbows on her knees. "Alright. I have no problem playing with guys, I actually prefer it." She wasn't too keen on playing with females, though she wouldn't complain if she had to.

"I'll never know if I'm wrong unless you tell me otherwise and if you can't figure out what I meant then that's a wee bit sad." He shook his head and moved so he was sitting exactly like her, his back curved as he leaned forward, the muscles stretched. "Why did you say it depends before when I mentioned I could get my friends together, if you'd prefer them to be all male?"
