Gracie smiled at him, "I know, he's told me several times. I just don't know if college is really for me, you know?" She sighed lightly and looked back down at her baby smiling at her as well. "But I feel like I do want to get some sort of job. I can be a secretary or something..." She rocked the little girl back and forth lightly as she listened to what Monte was suggesting. She thought about it for a moment. "You know, that might not be too bad an idea. I can have a small daycare. Like just a couple kids, you know? Like Gage or maybe Daylin, Malachi's niece." She bit her lip and thought about it. "Or just put an ad in the paper, even."

"Secretary sounds cool too." He shook his head at the image in his head of Gracie in a sexy get up most secretaries in movies usually wear. "You'd make a hot secretary, Avery might have to fight off your boss though." He winked. "You could be a baby sitter for after school too, you know for parents who have to work a couple hours after school lets out." He shrugged.

Gracie laughed and shook her head, "Yeah, I doubt that, not with my tummy the way it looks right now. You don't even know how much twins stretch things out," she said, shaking her head lightly. "It's actually kind of gross. Although, I didn't get any stretch marks. I used a lot of shea butter." She smiled, proud that she'd thought to do that little trick, or was told, rather. She nodded, that would work. It was only a couple hours a day and the kids were old enough to entertain themselves usually. She'd just have to have a snack prepared. They could hop on the bus to her house even. "That's a novel idea, Monte..."

Monte made a face. He could hardly believe Gracie was anything more than perfect under her clothes, but he wasn't going to let his mind venture that far, he'd much rather keep the image of Gracie the way it was up there. "Thank you, thank you very much. I'd bow, but I don't want to disturb Devyn." He sat quietly rocking the little girl until something Avery asked him to ask her about popped into his head. "Did you ever talk to that Liesl girl?"

Gracie smiled again and leaned back against the chair, letting her finger move to her daughter's tiny hand. She shook her head, it was still so amazing that something so beautiful could be formed out of two tiny cells, much less the fact that it could then split into two tiny beautiful baby girls. She let out a soft giggle with his words and looked back up at him. With his question she thought for a second. She shook her head, "No, you know what, I forgot to try to get a hold of her. I forgot all about that actually. Did Avery tell you?"

Monte nodded. "Yeah he told me not to let you forget, but he must have forgot I'm not the best at remembering things." He shrugged. "You going to try and get in touch with her then?" He was trying to remember why Avery wanted her to talk to her. "She was pregnant too huh?"

Gracie nodded lightly, "Yeah, she was pregnant. She graduated this year too, I believe." She licked her lips and shrugged. "I think I am. I want to know what other people are having a hard time with. Like maybe if we get together we can help each other?" she said, questioning it really. She didn't know if that made any sense, but it was all she could think of. "I just feel like I need some mommy friends. Or at least one. It just feels like I'm alone in this boat, you know?"

Monte shrugged, again she was talking about something he had no idea about. "Yeah, I guess. You aren't alone, but yeah I guess I can see where you'd want someone to talk about baby stuff with, isn't she still pregnant?" He tried to recall. "I couldn't really gauge how pregnant she was because my only basis was you and well you looked ready to pop..." He shut his mouth, this might be a topic she might not be too fond of.

Gracie nodded, "I mean, I know I'm not alone but I want someone to kind of understand? Like feelings and stuff?" She shrugged lightly, it might not make sense to anyone else, but it made sense to her and that was really all that mattered. "I don't really know. She may be. I mean, I had twins too, so in that case I looked like I was ready to pop at five months," she said with a laugh. She shook her head lightly and then looked back down at the baby in her arms. "But I don't really know her at all. I've not ever had a class with her."

Monte nodded. "I think I was in detention with her once, but you're not really supposed to talk in detention, so it's not like I had any real opportunity." Not that he would have talked to Liesl even if the opportunity arose, she was attractive, but if Monte were going to go for any girl with a kid already it most certainly would have been Gracie. The genetic makeup for her girls was as close to his offspring as it would ever get until he had his own, which might not even happen. "Well good luck talking to her if you ever find her, I think she lives on Coldwater." How he knew that information, there was no telling.

Gracie gave a light chuckle and shook her head, "Maybe we should be asking you to run off to places unknown. You won't taint the girls with your wild ideas as your detention stories," she said, joking, obviously. She wasn't really one for making random conversation. She would be a little out of her comfort zone when she spoke to this girl. She looked up at Monte with a smile, "How do you know where she lives?" she asked lightly, but then her eyes lit up and she turned into Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. "Oh! You like her you want to kiss her, you want to daaate her..." She was only teasing of course, but this was honestly making her feel better.

Monte raised an eyebrow and tilted his, not really sure what she meant by tainting girls with his detention stories, whatever she was talking about was going completely over his head. He shrugged his shoulders. "I..." He began as a reply, but she started in with her 'like her, kiss her, date her' line and his brain switched gears. She was right, only, the her in the situation was all wrong, he wanted to kiss her date her and not Liesl. "She's attractive, but I don't think she's uh, my type." He had his own less known movie quote from Easy A, he used the same tone and punctuation that Emma Stone had as Olive when the Gay kid asked her to be his girlfriend. He was having fun regardless of the teasing.

Gracie smiled at him and shook her head, "Ookay, whatever you say," she said light-heartedly. She let out another sigh as she received a text from her sister. She checked it and smiled, "She says of course you're welcome, you're family now." She stood from her seat. "We can go downstairs with the girls, if you'd like, it'll be more comfortable."

Monte nodded and got up, taking the first steps from the room and down the stairs. "Does she say when she's coming?" Not that it mattered, he had nothing to do for the next six months, at least nothing major, it could be one in the morning and he'd be available, although their choices might be severely limited on where they could eat. "Has your mom come by since you moved in yet?" Small talk never was his strong suit.

Gracie shook her head lightly, "No, I can ask her though. I'll ask about Zane too." She let out a small sigh taking the baby in her arms back to the living room so that they could both be comfortable. His asking about her mother, however, darkened her mood, not that it was visible, no one besides Avery wouldve known the difference. "Oh, no. Not yet. I've talked to her a couple times. She says she wants to come over and see the girls, get to see the house. She apparently hasn't gotten around to it yet."
