"Get your pretty ass in the car now!" The orange top called out the window of her car. Polaris laughed, running down the porch steps in her short red dress with Nada behind her in a blue dress. "Come on Quisha! I'm the one who's buying your drinks!" Nada said to the girl behind the wheel, jumping into the back quickly. Polaris laughed jumping in the other side. "With what ID?! You're younger than I am!" "Alright shut up so I can drive!" Quisha called, backing up and pulling out to just quickly speed onto the road again with the girls squealing with laughter all the way there. "We came here for a good time, let's have one!" Quisha yelled, busting into the doors to the club. Polaris and Nada followed, grinning wickedly. "Grab a hot guy and shake your ass, girls." Quisha called, moving quickly to flirt with someone at the bar. Polaris bit her lip, but Nada pulled her into the dancing crowd, immediately getting checked out. Nada quickly grabbed a guy, moving deeper into he crowd with him grinning behind her. Some red headed guy lulled on Polaris' hand, smirking softly. "Want to dance?" He said into her ear so she could hear him. "I would've hit you by now if I didn't she replied slyly, pulling him closer to her to dance. She was glad she didn't have on a tight dress, hers was knee length and easy to move around in. It felt weird being against a guy after just a couple days, but after a few minutes she started not to care, just moving with the guy who was behind her.

It's been only a couple days, and Shawn was still kicking himself about what he had done to Polaris. Again. For the past two days, Shawn hadn't left his room at all. He even had to have Toni or someone bring up his meals to eat. Not like he hardly ate any of it. His room must of smelled like an ashtray with how many times a day he lit a cigarette, everyone was surprised that they couldn't see smoke blow underneath the door yet. Then one day, as he was smoking another cigarette in one hand, and petting his dog with his other, Shawn thought he had finally figured something out. But he couldn't muster up the courage to admit it, to himself nor anyone else. Cursing to himself repeatedly, he tossed the cigarette butt out the window, giving Duke one last good scratching behind his ears before grabbing some pants and a random shirt lying around, slipping on his black boots, and headed out of his room and down the stairs. "I'm headin' out, Toni. Don't wait up." he called to his dad, who almost immediately came running up behind him stopping him before he walked any further out the door. "Hold up, Shawn. Where're you going this time?" Shawn only scoffed at him. "Why do I need to tell you?" "Because I'm your father, Shawn. And I don't want you to be doing anything stupid like last time with Po--" he was stopped by Shawn's glare to him. "Look. First of all, I wasn't even thinking of seeing that dumb slut," he lied, "and second..." he got up closer to Toni's face, Toni not feeling the least bit intimidated by it. "You're not my father." he finished, slamming the door on his way out.
After much deliberation in his head, Shawn decided to head to the nearby club. He hadn't had a few decent drinks in a while, not to mention it'll get his mind off of her. He hoped anyway. He tossed his last cigarette butt he was smoking on before he entered the club, sticking his hands deep in his pockets of his hooded jacket. Without making any eye contact with anyone, Shawn headed straight for the bar, nodding to the bartender who normally let him loose off of a few drinks, despite his young age. He grabbed his first alcoholic beverage, gulping his first drink down with his head tilted all the way back, his hoodie managing to slip off his head.

Quisha was already a little tipsy from getting a few drinks from the guy she was hitting on. Nada had moved out of the crowd and sat down at the bar to actually talk to the guy she'd pulled to the dance floor. She was the first one to notice the hoodie slip off the purple head. She almost gasped, quickly looking around for Polaris. Fortunately and unfortunately she was occupied with the guy she was dancing with, put more on the edge of the crowd, where her white hair could be seen obviously flowing around, whipping around her back. Nada bit her lip, not paying attention to the guy in front of her as she bit her lip, praying the two didn't see each other.
Polaris was enjoying herself, having a good time with the kid behind her. He hadn't pulled a touching move yet, so she was extremely happy. Moving her hips and arms, they just kept dancing, apparently oblivious to anyone walking in and sitting right in front of where that were dancing on the edge of the crowd, a little too close together. He kept whispering seducivly in her ear, but she stubbornly moved to make him stop and hold her closer, getting the message that she wasn't into anything yet. He leaned down and actually nibbled her ear a little, making her open her eyes in shock, catching the look on Nada's face, but refusing to look around.

A few more sips he took from his first drink, and Shawn was done with his first beverage. The guy slid in a second drink to him, as Shawn nonchalantly grabbed the glass and gulped down another drink. He didn't even have to look behind him in order for his face to land on his arms on top of the table. Thought he still didn't know that the girl that was on his mind was indeed right behind him with another guy, Shawn still felt horrible about the last thing he said, not to, but about her. "I really fucked it up this time." he mumbled to himself, lifting his head up again just to get another swig of his drink, to drown out all the emotions going on in his head. It showed in his eyes that he wasn't really feeling up to anything today. Even when some random girl had just come up to him, and started to flirt. He denied her with the wave of his hand, no contact whatsoever, and continued drinking.

"Why don't I buy us a few drinks?" The small question sent chills running up and down Polaris' spine, but she agreed to it anyway. "I'm going to check on my sis real quick, though, is that ok?" She asked sweetly looking back. "Sure. Hey, I'm Nick by the way. You?" Polaris snickered. "Rissy." Nick grinned and nodded, moving around her to lean right next to the purple haired kid. "Two." He held up for the bartender. He glanced over at Shawn. "Nice hair color man." He grinned. It was a weird color to have on a guy, but he had to give him props for the way he could wear it. "Got any chicks tonight?" He snickered, just thinking about the white haired girl he was dancing with.
Polaris had moved into the seat next to Nada, 3 away from Shawn. Nada pressed her fingers to the chatty kid's lips and said 'wait', turning to Polaris. "You wanna leave?" She mumbled, glancing at Shawn. Polaris shook her head. "Supposed to be here for a good time right? When Red Head gets the drinks, we'll move to the middle of the floor and wait it out." She bit her lip, her leg shaking. Shawn was the last person she wanted to run into at the moment.

Shawn kept his back hunched over, taking smaller sips the more drinks he started receiving. Shawn noticed a guy come up beside him ordering two drinks, and while completely ignoring the compliment he gave him about his hair, Shawn muttered a simple, "No." to the guy about his last question. Shawn was really not in the mood for a talk with anyone right now. Although that question the guy asked him pondered him a bit. Maybe he should go find some other girl to knock up. He had thought about it, but quickly denied the idea with a small shake of his head and a deep sigh.

Nick snorted, grinning at the guy. "You should, they've gone some wild ones tonight. Damn I picked a good time to come." As the drinks were slid over to him, he nudged Shawn slightly. "Check this broad out-- Hey, Rissy! Come over here." Polaris clenched her teeth and closed her eyes. Nada groaned slightly, but Polaris ignored her. She boldly stood up and strutted over to him, sliding into the seat next to Nick. "Who's your friend?" She asked looking at Shawn as if she had never even seen him before. Nick slipped her her drink, grinning at her. Polaris smiled back and took a sip, almost shuddering at the taste of the amount of alcohol.

Shawn kept his body positioned the same as it was before, his back slumped over and his mouth slurping on the alcohol every few seconds until it was empty and the bartender slid him down another one. It didn't take him long then when Nick called out to the girl he had been with on the dance floor. Rissy? Shawn raised an eyebrow, glancing from the corner of his eye without turning his head all the way around. What? She comes to the bar with this idiot, but not me?! he groaned lightly to himself, catching a glimpse of Polaris sipping on some alcohol now. His eyes widened. What the fuck? Shawn shook his head again, turning so his back was facing the both of them. "God damn." he muttered under his breath, frustratedly.

Nick grinned over at Polaris, taking his own drink and sipping smoothly. "Dunno, he didn't give me his name." Polaris tilted her head cutely. "That's a shame." Nick nodded, taking another swing. "Hey, you mind waiting here real quick while I head to the bathroom?" Polaris smiled, shrugging. "Sure." Nick nodded, setting his drink down. "Be right back then" He winked at her and walked towards the bathroom, whistling. Polaris rolled her eyes, getting rid of the fake smile and taking another swig of her drink. She didn't really have a choice but to stay in the seat she was at, so she just turned forward, as if she seriously didn't know who Shawn was.

Finishing yet another drink of his, Shawn slid down the empty glass in return for another drink filled to the top. He sipped it more slower, and couldn't help but overhear Nick saying to Polaris that he was leaving for a short period of time. He slipped the hood of his jacket back over his head then, slowly returning his body back to its original state, still hunched over the counter though, sipping his drink every other second. He looked from the corner of his eye then, looking at Polaris, and couldn't help but wonder if she really was happy about drinking that strong alcohol she was so suddenly handed by a stranger. And if she even still thought about him the way he thought of her. Probably not, considering all of the bad things he's said to her. He wanted to say something, but he didn't know what, or even where to start. Although, he did manage to spill out, "Cool guy. You just meet him?" in a more monotone sort of voice than she was used to hearing from him.

Polaris ran her tongue over her teeth, doing her best to ignore Shawn, hoping he was already wasted enough to ignore her. She sighed though as she heard him talk, using his usual straight forward voice. "Yeah I did actually." She said, looking across at the shelves behind the bar table. She tapped her glass for a refill, flashing a small fake smile at the bartender. Running her fingers through her hair, she said nothing more to Shawn as she took another sip, bracing herself from the alcohol. She took a deep breath, actually praying for Nick to hurry up and come back so she could occupy herself with something else.

Shawn nodded subtly at her answer. He took another sip of his drink, licking his lips after, while keeping his hand around the glass. A short silence took over between the two of them then, before Shawn suddenly decided to say, "He treating you right?" His own eyes widened at what he had just said. He honestly did not know where that came from, but deep down, he really was scared for Polaris. Not knowing anything about this guy except for his name. It was almost like Shawn was jealous. A possibility, yes. But there was no way you would get him to admit to that.

Polaris turned and was about to get up when the silence fell between them to move somewhere else, but then he started talking again. It took her a while to register the question he asked, making her freeze for a second. "Yes. Very well." She said, almost saying it to where it sounded like she was rubbing it in his face. "Nick's a good kid. Sweet." Now she was rubbing it in his face. She hoped he got mad too, there was something in her that wanted to hurt him about as bad as he had hurt her. But she also just wanted to get away from him, she couldn't stand just talking to him like he did nothing wrong.

((Omg, I'm so sorry for the delay response. I totally thought I already posted back to this thread. Sorry! )) Shawn simply nodded at the first response he got. Then cringed slightly at the second response given from her. Sure, there was anger inside him wanting desperately to come out, but he forced it to stay down for now. "Thats...thats good." he let out, getting interrupted by a sudden lump in his throat he had to swallow. He took another swig of his drink in order for his throat to clear up more before speaking again. "You deserve someone like that. Sweet." he cringed mentally at the last word given, "Someone that treats you right...holds your hand when things get tough...talks through problems you may be having..." he paused, licking his lips, as he searched for the right words to finish off with. "Always there for you." he nodded his head. "Yeah..you deserve someone like that." he kept his gaze in front of him however, not glancing over to Polaris for one second, on account of he was afraid of what her expression may turn into next, whether it was glare or worse.

((haha it's fine ^_^))
Polaris closed her eyes, gritting her teeth. Is he serious? Why is he telling me all this? Finally, she couldn't take it anymore it just didn't make sense. "I don't need you to tell me what I deserve. I know it, thank you. I'm not about to let myself get hurt multiple times this time." She was scowling at him a look of hatred etched into her face. "Hopefully I'll get what I 'deserve' this time. Unlike the last two." She wanted to get up and storm away, but her legs felt like they couldn't hold her up.
