((tee-hee, I know. Tis' the same in Japanese )) "Oh. Hello. I'm Marissa." She responded to the little girl, not really acknowledging the "onni" part. She nodded at his question, grabbing what little stuff she had - her sketch book and small messenger bag - and stood, slinging her bag over her shoulder. The quicker they got there the quicker she could stop feeling bad, or having these mixed feelings that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Kavi led the way, suddenly feeling bad he hadn't taken his parent's van for the day. He had been given permission, but his twin brother Akio had beat him to it. "I know you ran away but... do you have any siblings?" He asked, simply trying to make small talk on their way, MinKyon skipping a couple steps ahead even though she was holding Kavi's hand.

Marissa walked slightly behind Kavi, simply because the pain in her stomach was preventing her from walking as fast as she usually did. She shook her head lightly. "No, I was an only child. My parents didn't want to have me to begin with." She stopped before she went off on a rant. "I wish I had siblings though. Then I wouldn't be so lonely." Marissa brushed her hair behind her ear. "What about you?"

Kavi listened to her story, not able to help but look at MinKyon, seemingly oblivious the adults above her were even talking as she continued skipping a couple steps ahead. You mother was the same as her parents... He thought to himself, shaking himself out of his daze as he realized she asked her a question. He let out a small laugh, "Actually, I kind of come from a big family." He began, "I've got a twin brother, then 3 adopted siblings, one older, two younger." He explained. "That's all my siblings, but then there's Kyon in the house, as well as my two cousins who are studying abroad here until they graduate college, then of course my parents, so it's a full house."

"Oh. You're lucky." Marissa sighed. "I've always wanted siblings. I don't know if I have any cousins either. My parents didn't talk about their families much." Since she was an only child of very wealthy business people, Marissa never had anyone to play with. "You must never get lonely, huh?" She didn't want to assume though, even with a big family it was possible to get lonely.

"I think if it had just been my siblings, it would be different, but since I have an identical twin, I've never been alone and sometimes I would wish I was an only child." He told her, letting out a small laugh.

"Oh. You're lucky." She repeated her previous statement, brushing her hair out of her face again. "I've always wanted a really big family." They finally reached the cafe and Marissa waited for Kavi and Kyon to go first before walking in behind them. "It's so nice and quiet in here. This is where I spend a lot of my time when I'm not at the park."

Kavi looked around the cafe, it's peaceful ambiance immediately washing over him and letting him relax. It even seemed to affect MinKyon, as she stopped skipping, instead looking around. "아빠 (daddy), can I get a hot choco?" She asked him, tugging slightly on the bottom of his shirt. Kavi looked down, "sure." He replied simply, then returned his attention to Marissa. "It's real nice in here." He told her simply before being the first to go up and into the line, looking at the sandwiches being displayed, as well as some of the treats. "It's nicely priced, too. Surprising." He added, more as a spoken thought than a comment to anyone.

Marissa nodded, walking up behind Kavi. "It's the only place I can really afford to eat." And just barely, she could only really afford one meal a day, and who knew how long that would last before she was out of money? "I usually just get a half sandwich and some water." Since water was free and a half sandwich was much cheaper than a full one.

"Wow... Well, uh... Get what you want, really. Don't hold back." He told her confidently. He wasn't too worried about money since his parents still helped him out. MinKyon looked longingly at the cookies, standing on her tip-toes, nose pressed to the glass. "No, Kyon." Kavi told her before she could ask.

Marissa bit her lip, she wasn't sure her stomach could take getting much more than that at this point since she was used to eating so little. I could probably wrap it up and save it for later though... She still didn't want to spend too much of his money, but she didn't want to pass up this opportunity to get something to eat either. "Alright..." She finally muttered, eyes scanning the menu again. "Um...Maybe...I could get some soup and a sandwich and some water..." She figured she could eat the soup now and save the sandwich for later. "What's a milkshake? I've never had one before." Marissa frowned a bit, turning to look at Kavi.

Kavi was nodding absent-mindedly, until he heard she didn't know what a milkshake was. "You WHAT?! Oh, man, you are having a milkshake." He told her, speaking a little too loudly at first. "I can't believe you've never had a milkshake..."

Marissa winced at Kavi's sudden outburst, eyes wide. She didn't realize not knowing what a milkshake is was such a huge deal. "My parents never allowed me to have sweets. I don't know what a lot of things are." Marissa was careful not to name anything though, in case he had an aneurism or something.

Kavi shook his head, playfully "tsk"-ing her. "We're going to change that. But we don't want to make you sick, so for now we'll just stick with a milkshake and... you said a sandwich?" He said, also looking for something he could split with his daughter.

Marissa let out a soft laugh, shaking her head. "Yeah, and soup." She wondered though, did this mean he wanted to spend more time with her? She wouldn't mind it, she would love to spend more time with him, to get to know him. Maybe after she got settled somewhere that wasn't the park, though. Being homeless was definitely not attractive. Am I trying to be attractive...?
