Shen smiled as they began walking towards the bakery. "Really? It's a common hang out spot in China. Bakeries, I mean." He told her, trying to see what they had from afar, but couldn't see much through the windows.

"Ooooh. I bet they're nice." Amaya reached the bakery, opening the door for Shen first before following in. She took a deep breath, the smell making her mouth water just a bit. "It does smell yummy in here. Looking around, she found she actually liked the place. "I wouldn't mind coming here more often."

Shen smiled as the delicious smells overwhelmed his senses. But it was more... bread-y than cake-y, which brought on a bit of disappointment on his part. He looked at what type of pastries they did have, deciding the cinnamon roll looked good. "It's nice in here," He agreed, finally answering Amaya, "But it's still nothing like the ones in Asia." He told her, looking to make sure it really was the cinnamon roll that he wanted and not something else.

"Maybe one day we should head back to where you're from and you can show me to all the best bakeries." Amaya suggested with a smile. She looked at the menu, and all the pastries in the display case, her stomach growling lightly. "Are you getting anything?" She asked, looking over at Shen.

"Cinnamon roll." Shen managed to get out, surprised to hear someone he had just met offering to travel half way across the world with him. He blinked a couple times, not able to shake himself out of his daze until he shook his head slightly. "You'd... You'd really want to visit China?" He asked her, his voice easily showing his surprise.

"Ooh, a cinnamon roll does sound good. Maybe I'll get one too." Amaya said, seeming oblivious to his shock at her words. She tilted her head to smile at him, nodding lightly. "Of course. It seems like it'd be fun. Why? Is that a bad thing?"

Shen shook his head, still looking for anything he might want more than the cinnamon roll. "No.. It's just.. I don't really know many people so willing to travel..." He muttered. Even he had been nervous about moving to America, he couldn't imagine going somewhere where he had no experience with the language whatsoever. I guess having a possible travel guide makes it a bit easier to think about... He thought to himself, settling on the cinnamon roll by the time he got to the counter to order. "Um... My treat." He offered to Amaya shyly.
