Brody shook his head, and rested his hand on her leg. "No I'm not busy. I finish work around 3.30 so I can pick you up from school if you want me to. Or you can meet me there if you'd rather."
Driving slowly through the streets, he felt an eery calm settle over him. He knew everything was a mess, especially things with Liesl and her yo-yo mood swing but he felt for the minute that even that was in an ok place. He shook his head once more, a sly smile on his face. "I think you'd look seriously sexy riding on my bike while you're pregnant."

She finally relaxed and a smile spread on her lips, they were having a conversation and not a confrontation. He didn't give her any excuse why he couldn't do it tomorrow and best of all, Kylie, who was always standing in the back of her mind, figuratively walked away. "I'll meet you there. I need to get my lazy bones up and do some more walking before my ankles start to swell and they put me on mandatory bed rest." She placed her hand on top of his and with a smile still plastered on her face she looked out the window. "I'm not aiming for that, but I feel bigger than I should be already and after a long day, I've noticed some swelling down there. So it's a possibility." It stands right beside Kylie most days.
"Do you really think that?" She asked. "I know I was much hotter before my belly started to grow." She looked away from the window to smirk at him. "I saw you practically drooling that day I was laying on your motorcycle waiting for you." She laughed, if it hadn't been full blown out winter then, she would have done it in a bathing suit, and then see how much drool he'd produce. "I did like the motorcycle, but I think I really would be scared to get on it, in case there was an accident. Wouldn't want to hurt Bean."

Brody chuckled and nodded his head. "Yeah I guess I kind of was. You're the only girl to ever sit like that on it and it was kind of like a fantasy. I used to have a poster with a girl sitting on a motorbike and I used to wish that would happen to me. So I guess you kind of fulfilled it."
Looking over at her, he shook his head. "I think you look more beautiful than ever. Little Bean is going to be gorgeous, just like their mother." Pulling into her driveway, he shut off the engine and leaned over to kiss her cheek before getting out of the car. "Here we are. Let's get you settled huh?"

Liesl smiled. "Glad to help." She kept the smile on her face and looked down at the floor boards. "I'm sure you're just talking out your..." She shut up with the kiss on the cheek. "Brody you are really confusing." She got out of the car, but she wasn't mad at him at all, she walked around to the other side of the car and put her arm around him. "Let's."
Sorry

Brody shrugged lightly, a smile playing around the corners of his mouth. "You think I'm confusing? Try actually being me, when people want explanations for the crap I do."
He copied her movement and slid his arm around her waist. Walking towards the door, he cocked his head to look at her. "What's your favourite movie?" I've decided, we're doing this backwards. I should know all this stuff about you already. Oh well. I guess better late than never.

"Yeah I don't think I could handle being you. You complicate your life too much, I like a little complications, but nothing so unmanageable as what you've set up for yourself." She wasn't trying to slight him, just stating her opinion. "I always find it difficult to imagine being someone else because I'm through and through me and in no way capable of saying what I definitely would do in a difficult situation, now trying to figure out what you would do.... I'm at a complete loss. You throw so many curve balls and just when I think you're going to do the predictable you throw a fast one, but you never keep the same pattern so you're always throwing me off." She hugged him a little.
"Favorite movie currently, Juno." She grinned. "I don't know really, I guess I'm a big fan of Bring it on.." She laughed with that answer too. Most of Adam Sandler movies. You?"

Brody grinned and ran his free hand through his hair, before opening the front door. "I like movies like Con Air. And I guess horror movies, classic ones like Rosemary's Baby."
Letting go of her waist, he waited for her to enter the house, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Do you have any of your favourite movies here or do you just rent them when you want to watch them? My dad never buys DVDs, he thinks it's a waste cause he only watches them once. My mum buys tons though."

Liesl raised an eyebrow at his choice of movies. "I can't say I've ever heard of Con Air, but horror movies are alright, used to like them a lot more when I was little, now I just think they're tolerable. I've never heard of Rosemary's Baby either." She giggled. "Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Bring it On, but it's the only thing that popped in my head, association with a certain someone, I suppose." She chuckled and then was thankful he'd asked another question. "I have a lot of DVD's actually, but I've heard of people not buying DVDs because they only watch them once. I couldn't imagine watching some movies only once. Juno never gets boring."

Brody smiled even more broadly as she stated she hadn't seen either of his favourite movies. "We'll have to watch them then. Con Air is...sort of a comedy. But not really I guess. It's epic anyway. And Rosemary's baby is...probably not something you want to watch until you've had Bean. And Bean is maybe five."
He chuckled softly, and nodded his head. "I can watch a movie a thousand times. It doesn't matter that I've seen it before. It's a bit like books, it doesn't matter if you've read them before you can do it again."

Liesl was certainly curious about the second movie he'd suggested now that she wasn't supposed to watch it until Bean was five. How gruesome could it possibly be? "Oh Brody do you read?" She grinned, certainly teasing him. She walked into the house and took his hand back as she started up the stairs to her room. "So have you ever seen No Country for Old Men?" She asked, it was sort of a horror movie.

Brody laced his fingers with hers as she took his hand, and shook his head. "No, I don't read much.. that's the way Hayden explained it to me, cause he used to read all the time." His face twisted briefly, before it smoothed back into his usual expression.
"Is that the one with the drugs and stuff? I watched it, but I was supposed to be doing an assignment so I missed a whole bunch. That was one my dad rented so I couldn't watch it later, I had to watch it then or not at all."

Liesl shrugged. "I don't know, I don't really remember much of the plot, but the guy had this awesome air gun thing that blew out all the locks on the doors, scared the shit out of me to be honest." She shrugged again. "So we don't have to watch a movie, we could just turn the TV on and watch it." She pushed her bedroom door open and walked into the room backward.

Brody couldn't help but smile as she walked through her door backwards. He followed suit quickly, glancing at the tv as he entered the room. "Sure, that sounds good too. I have no idea what's on during the day but I'm positive there will be something mindless we can veg out to."
He let go of her hand and crossed the room to her bed. Kicking off his shoes, he flopped onto his back and propped his head up with his hands. He grinned up at her mischeviously and looked around the room. "I'm comfy. So where are you gonna sit?"

Liesl shrugged, she didn't really know what was on during the day either, she rarely ever watched TV, she mostly watched movies, or netflixed stuff. She grabbed her remote tossed it on the bed beside Brody and went to her dresser. She wasn't the slightest bit ashamed to change in front of him and so off came the pants with the ugly band and the shirt and on went a comfy pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She matched his mischievous grin and crawled right on top of him, grant it with difficulty, but she managed, she sat on his hips. "Well if you insist on hogging the entire bed, I'll just have to sit on you." She grinned, ready to lean forward and kiss him, but with a slight frown forming on her lips, she stopped and stared down at him instead. Kylie had returned and no matter how much she didn't care, she still wanted to stay on good terms with Brody.

Brody swallowed hard as she sat on his hips, trying to convey an urgent message to his body not to respond to their current postion. He kept his hands firmly under his head as went to move, but couldn't fool himself into thinking he wasn't disappointed when she stopped. "Uh...Well, this isn't really very relaxing is it? Well I mean, it is for me but you can't see the tv from there."
He knew he was treading a fine line, his behaviour at the doctors and even now were sending mixed signals everywhere. Even to himself. Kylie, dude. KYLIE Shaking his head to clear it, he propped himself up on his elbows, his michevious smile back on his face. "I could probably move over just a little, so you and Bean can join me."
